Lee Hsien Loong's NRIC number & how PM gets his name
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong (64) received his new PAssion Silver Concession Card on 11 Dec 2016 as a certified senior citizen.
A senior citizen in Singapore refers to those aged 60 and above. With the card, you can enjoy lower rates when taking the public transport and shopping at the government-linked supermarkets, among other benefits.
Many readers are curious as to what his NRIC number looks like, and the PM shared a photo with his number on it. It starts with an "S"... meaning that he was born before 2000. Those born on or after 2000 would have NRIC numbers starting with a "T".
The next closest clue we have is that his date of birth is 10 Feb 1952, an Aquarius man, and a Water Dragon, according to the Chinese Zodiac.

Incidentally, "Loong" or Jackie Chan's Chen "Long" also refers to a Dragon(龙) in Chinese, a revered and mythical creature often associated with the Emperor in Imperial China.
Hence, the Prime Minister's name is probably derived from his Chinese Zodiac sign.
Bruce Lee, Sandra Bullock, Rihanna, John Lennon, Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang of China’s Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644, a Golden Period) and Deng Xiaoping are also Dragons.
