A spec-off of this year's newest smartphones
If you're looking to get a new smartphone this year....Apple has released its' newest iphones on Wednesday...and other market giants like Samsung and LG have also unveiled their newest smartphones earlier this year.
There's a lot of different choices for the users around the globe..but what are some of the newest features and unique functionalities of these phones?
Our Lee Un-shin, gives us a spec-off of some of the newest smartphones this year.
Apple revealed its latest iPhone installment at its annual event on Wednesday,...and is set to compete against the recently released Korean handsets, Samsung's Galaxy note 7 and LG's V 20.
Featuring state-of-the-art technologies and new features, here's what users around the world need to know about these top-notch smartphones.
Let's start with Samsung's Galaxy note 7.
What really makes Samsung stand out is the S Pen, and for the new Galaxy Note 7...the stylus comes with additional functions, not to mention a thinner tip that makes writing and drawing feel easier and more natural.
And the company's eye-scanning technology has also taken the world by storm.
The device comes with an Iris detection feature...and it's said to be the safest way of keeping information locked in the phone, which allows for safer phone banking transactions.
And for users who call themselves big "music-head"s...LG's new V20 might be the right choice. LG put a huge emphasis on audio features.
Equipped with three mics and four digital converters, to help minimize noise...
the V-20 is said to deliver more accurate, louder, clearer audio quality than any other smartphone in the market.
The V 20 is also keeping its signature removable battery.
Now, Apple's iPhone 7 keeps its signature aesthetics... with a big difference in size compared to the previous iPhone 6-series.
The iPhone-7 is the smallest among all recently released smartphones, with just 4-point-7 inches, an inch smaller than the galaxy note 7 and v-20.
And the iPhone-7-Plus, comes at 5-point-5 inches, still a bit smaller than the other two rivals.
Apples's new iphone and its' 'Plus' series, both have 12-mega pixel cameras, while the 7-Plus, features a "dual lens" function, for better Zoomed-in photos.
Storage-wise, there will be no need for additional micro-SD memory cards... as the iPhone got rid of its basic line of 16 gigabytes and launched the iPhone 7 starting with 32 gigabytes, followed by one-hundred-28...and up to 2-hundred 56 Gigabytes.
But the biggest shocker at Wednesday's reveal was Apple getting rid of the headphone jack for the iPhone 7 and 7 plus.
Instead, the new iPhone packages will come with wireless earphones called "Airpods" that connect to the phone's Lightning port.
They provide up to 5-hours of listening, but with the compact charging case, they promise 24-hours of total battery life.
With Samsung, LG and Apple all featuring some never-before-seen fucntions...users around the world have some head scratching to do before choosing the one that suits their tast the most
The new iPhones are set to hit shelves on September 16th in the US.
